Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Human Resources Department (HRD) in reducing turnover intention at Harris Hotel Batam Center. High turnover intention is a serious problem because it can disrupt operational stability and reduce service quality. HRD plays a crucial role in creating a supportive work environment through recruitment, training, career development, and welfare and labor relations management. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach using interviews and observations. The results indicate that HRD has implemented several strategies to reduce employee turnover intention, but more systematic efforts are needed in terms of internal communication, employee development, and increasing job satisfaction.
