Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the work environment on job satisfaction of employees in the Front Office Department at Best Western The Lagoon Hotel Manado. In the competitive hospitality industry, job satisfaction is a crucial factor to ensure high-quality service. This research employed a qualitative method with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the work environment in the Front Office generally supports employee job satisfaction in both physical and non-physical aspects. However, several improvements are still needed, such as room temperature regulation, better lighting in the Night Audit area, and more effective task distribution in accordance with individual capacities. Continuous improvement in these aspects is expected to enhance employee satisfaction and positively contribute to the overall service quality of the hotel.
