Abstract

This study explores the implementation of Japanese cultural values Wa (harmony) and Giri (moral responsibility) in service ethics and Food and Beverage (F&B) standards at Seaside Restaurant Tancha Bay, Rizzan Sea-Park Hotel, Okinawa. A descriptive qualitative method was applied, using observation, interviews, and documentation. Findings reveal that Wa is reflected in teamwork, harmonious interactions, and conflict minimization, while Giri is expressed in responsibility, discipline, and commitment to guest satisfaction. Both values shape ethical service practices and strengthen hotel service standards within a multicultural work environment.
