Keywords:
Work Environment, Employee ProductivityAbstract
This research aims to analyze the influence and relationship of the work environment on employe productivity at PT PLN (Persero) UPT Manado. This research uses a quantitative research method with a descriptive approach, and the population used is all employes with a sample size of 34 respondents selected thru non-probability sampling. Data was collected thru questionnaires, then processed and analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, simple linear regression, Pearson correlation, t-tests, f-tests, and the coefficient of determination with the help of SPSS version 25. The research results indicate that the work environment has a positive and significant impact on employe productivity. This is indicated by the regression equation Y = −3.108 + 0.705X, meaning that for every one-unit increase in the work environment variable, employe productivity will increase by 0.705. The correlation coefficient r = 0.738 indicates a strong relationship between the two variables, and the coefficient of determination (R2) is 54.5%, which means that more than half of the variation in employe productivity can be explained by the work environment, and the rest is influenced by factors outside the study. Thus, the better the working environment, the higher the employe productivity. Therefore, companies need to continue to pay attention to both the physical and non-physical aspects of the work environment in order to increase employe productivity.
